Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Unrefused API, Chat and dashboard.
Draft for launch. Review with counsel before publication. Effective date: to be set.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you can bind it.
2. The service
Unrefused provides API access to open-weight machine-learning models, a policy layer you configure, and related tooling. Models are open-weight and licensed for commercial use under their respective licences; you are responsible for complying with any licence terms that apply to outputs in your use case.
3. Accounts and keys
Keep API keys confidential. You are responsible for all use under your keys, including by your users. Revoke keys you no longer need. Tell us promptly at security@unrefused.com if a key is compromised.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to what you send and to outputs you receive. We claim no rights in either and do not store them (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having the rights and lawful bases needed for the content you process.
5. Fees
Usage is billed per token at the rates on the pricing page, as reported by the model server for each request. Prices shown as placeholders may change before launch; we will give notice before any price change applies to existing accounts. Taxes are your responsibility where applicable.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Current status is at /status. We may change or retire models with notice where reasonably possible.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for non-payment, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time. Sections on fees owed, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive termination.
8. Disclaimers
The service and model outputs are provided "as is". Outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your purpose; you are responsible for evaluating them before relying on them. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing law
Governing law and venue: to be set with counsel.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard and by email to workspace owners before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance.
